# Magma V2.12-3 Patch Notes

## Elliptic Curves

- A bug in the Frobenius trace has been fixed.

## Groups

- A bug with `RandomProcess` for permutation and matrix groups has been fixed. The parameter `WordGroup` is now not ignored. Bug reported by Henrik Baarnhielm.
- Some problems with `Subgroups` reported by Kasper Andersen have been fixed. These related to computing subgroups of groups of type `GrpPermCox` and `GrpMat`.

## Number Fields

- Bugs in `UnitGroup` have been fixed.
