# Magma V2.10-14 Patch Notes

## Elliptic Curves

- An error that sometimes caused a crash when calculating of the trace of Frobenius for elliptic curves over fields $GF(p^n)$, where $p^n$ is quite large, has been fixed. Reported by Frederik Vercauteren.

## Graphs

- A bug arising when deleting graphs and their vertices and edges has been fixed.

## Lie Algebras

- A bug in the function `SetExtraSpecialSigns` has been fixed. Reported by Kasper Anderson.

## Rings and Fields

- A bug in the factorization of ideals of number fields and function fields has been fixed.
- Some errors that occurred when creating divisors for elements of quadratic fields have been fixed.
- An oversight slowing the `RayResidueRing` map down has been corrected.
- The pre-image map for `RayResidueRings` for cyclotomic fields was broken.
- A memory management problem that arose when computing the Fourier expansion of the normalised [`Eisenstein`](../BasicRings/RealAndComplexFields/elliptic-modular.md#function-eisenstein-rngintelt-rngserelt) function $E_{2k}(q)$ has been fixed. Reported by K Buzzard.

## System

- Some debugging checks were accidentally included in the Windows 2.10-13 patch release. These have been removed.
